Grigoryan Group Winery

The Grigoryan family, being one of the leaders in the production of alcoholic beverages in Armenia and working in this field for many years, began its activities as a state-owned enterprise in 1968. Collecting and uniting centuries-old traditions of Armenian winemaking, the Grigoryan family chose the slogan “Restore national values” and created a winery with a new name LLC “Grigoryan Group”. The winery is located in Ararat region.

It is symbolic that the region has a rich history of winemaking: according to legend, before our era Noah descended from Mount Ararat and it was here that he planted the first vines. The founder of the factory is Aramais Grigoryan. He brought together experienced specialists from across the republic, thanks to whom the factory achieved success and began producing high-quality wines. These wines are highly appreciated by connoisseurs for their exceptional taste and quality.

Grigoryan Winery produces Geghani white wines from Kangun garpe, Asmunk red wine - from Areni, Aigabats dry red - from Kakhet and red semi-sweet wines from Tigrani grapes.

Each grape variety is harvested during a specifically designated period to ensure optimal quality. The diversity of wines results from the combination of carefully selected grape varieties, controlled fermentation processes, and the complex biochemical interactions that occur during winemaking.

Guided by their motto and a deep respect for the traditions of winemaking, the winery follows every rule and detail of the craft to present wines that are pure, made exclusively from Armenian grapes, and cherished by both wine lovers and connoisseurs.

In 2025 Geghani semi-dry received a Silver Medal at “LA Competition”.. At the 2021 Expo exhibition in Moscow, our Geghani and Aigabats wines were awarded Gold Medals, while our Kakhet (Milagh) wine received a Silver Medal—a proud recognition of our commitment to excellence.
